• Jeffrey (Jeff) Mello received a B.S., summa cum laude, from Boston University and an MBA and Ph.D. from Northeastern University. He served as dean of the schools of Business at Rhode Island College, Siena College, and Barry University, and has held faculty and other administrative appointments at Hofstra University, The George Washington University, University of California at Berkeley, Towson University, and Golden Gate University. He served a three-year term as President of the Eastern Academy of Management, of which he is a Fellow.

    The recipient of the David L. Bradford Outstanding Educator Award (from the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society), he is the author of seven books, including Strategic Human Resource Management, 6e. (Cengage) and has published/presented more than one hundred book chapters, journal articles and conference papers. He currently serves on the editorial boards of four journals and has served as an editor for the Journal of Management Education, Journal of Legal Studies Education and Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal.

    In his corporate career, he held management positions in the publishing, technology, sports, and retail industries and was Senior Vice-President of a privately-held human resource management consultancy. He has served as a Director, Trustee, and officer of four nonprofit Boards and is also a former semi-professional athlete.
